  • Upgrade your next cookout with these Cuban Style Hot Dogs topped with ham, Swiss cheese, and B&G® Kosher Dill Spears.

Ingredients

  • 8 hot dog buns
  • 16 thin slices of ham
  • 16 thin slices of Swiss cheese
  • 8 hot dogs
  • 8 B&G® Kosher Dill Spears
  • Yellow mustard

Directions

  1. Open hot dog buns and place two slices of ham followed by two pieces of cheese on each bun. Place them on a baking sheet and set aside. Preheat oven broiler.
  2. Preheat grill to medium-high heat on one side and medium-low on the other.
  3. Grill hot dogs on the hot side first to create grill marks.
  4. Move to the cooler side and cook to an internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  5. When hot dogs are almost done, place the open-faced buns under the broiler and cook until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. When hot dogs are ready, place one on each bun and top with a pickle spear and yellow mustard.
